khepren: Khephren Chambers (he, him) is a data scientist and performing artist who joined WHPK in 2018 while studying at the University of Chicago.
Sonically, electronic music serves as his axis point, but his palate also spans soul, new wave, avant pop, punk rap, and more. He also has a background in western classical music and musical theatre.
His show runs the gamut of electronic music, including ballroom, jungle, musique concrète, drone...so on and so forth. While the subgenres are disparate, each show is cohesive, well-conceptualized, and anchored by his candor, thoughtfulness, and whimsy.
