It might be Australian aborigine, classical Chinese, Polish political, or Yemeni youth-ritual—a sampling of many kinds of music of a particular place, or the details of one specific style. DJs explore the cultural and social context of the music, the performers, the instruments, and the meanings of the lyrics.
